The RIPP thermostat increases the efficiency of your engine's cooling system by opening up at a lower temperature. This thermostat will open at 180°F, compared to your vehicle's standard thermostat which opens at a very hot 210°F. This allows coolant to flow through sooner, helping to reduce and maintain cooler temperatures in the engine. This is also great addition to vehicles with upgraded radiators and fans.
