Improved Racing CCS Oil Catch Can Kits
Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Final prototype testing also included a 9-month beta testing program in collaboration with various road racers, drag racers, and drifters. The CCS's design maximizes air-oil separation efficiency, resulting in a peak separation efficiency of 85 to 90 percent. For comparison, none of the competitor's catch cans tested showed a peak efficiency of more than 60 percent. * Optional drain kit (sold separately) is available to allow for remote draining without removing the catch can—because engine bay fitment is tight on specific vehicles
* Fast and flexible mounting bracket system for installation/removal and positioning—tool-free bracket nut can be removed without tools, or snug it down with 5/8 in. wrench
* No sight glass needed—just push-up and twist a 1/8th turn to remove the reservoir and look inside, no more fumbling, or endless unscrewing to remove the reservoir
* A powerful wave spring keeps the reservoir locked in place—included positive safety lock clip is also included just in case you want to be absolutely sure the reservoir cannot be removed
