Description

Aggressive street/strip cams for Gen 3 Coyote that push power to the top end. Built around OEM-port heads, 5,800–8,500 rpm (≈8,100 peak). Spring upgrade required; DI/HPFP lobe retained; pump/race/E85–E90 ready.

When you want the Coyote to live on the big end, run S2. The GSC S2 profile is an aggressive street/strip cam set designed to carry power hard to 8,100 rpm on OEM-port heads. Ramps and events are modeled against real Gen 3 port behavior and rocker geometry, then cut from our U.S.-made forged billet blanks and finished with BLACK ISE for reduced friction and long life. Built for pump gas, race fuel, or ethanol blends (E85/E90), with a powerband that comes on at ~5,800 and pulls through 8,500 rpm. Direct Injection note: the high-pressure fuel pump (DI/HPFP) lobe is maintained to OEM specification—stroke and timing are retained for proper pump operation.

Expect stronger top-end than S1 and a rowdier character. This set is for builds that prioritize trap speed and track numbers over commuting manners. Tuners typically keep VCT online within a tighter phasing window for best results at high rpm.

Tuning & Install Notes

  • Clearance: Always verify piston-to-valve clearance with your exact heads/pistons/gasket stack. With OEM pistons and deck heights, the full phaser range is usable without clearance issues.
  • Use upgraded valve springs (and Ti retainers) set to the tuner’s rev limit; check installed height and coil bind
  • See install sheet for torque sequence and procedures; prime oiling and fuel (HPFP follower inspection) on reassembly
  • BLACK ISE-coated lobes ship ready to install.
