Description
Injectors are cleaned tested daily at our facility to ensure proper flow and operation. This should be considered when purchasing used injectors or when a vehicle has not been operated in some time. If the vehicle is operated on ethanol fuels we suggest cleaning and testing more frequently.
-Injectors are resistance tested prior to testing.
-Injectors are Ultra Sonic cleaned - in a heated solution to loosen debris and remove carbon build up
- Idle Speed testing - the injector is ran with a cleaning solution at an idle spray pattern to clean and test the output of the injector. The step will be repeated until there is a balanced spray / flow pattern. At this point the idle speed test flow results will be captured.
- Medium Speed testing - the injector is ran with a cleaning solution at an medium throttle spray pattern to test the output of the injector. At this point the medium speed test flow results will be captured.
- High Speed testing - the injector is ran with a cleaning solution at an WOT throttle spray pattern to test the output of the injector. At this point the high speed test flow results will be captured.
-Accelerating Pulse Test -The injectors are ran at a at a steady increase of injector pulse speed and the results are recorded. This test is to ensure that the injectors are consistent through the rev range.
-Variable Pulse Speed Test -The injectors are ran at variable test pulse speeds and the results are recorded. This test is to ensure that the injectors are consistent when comparing against other tested injectors.
-Leak Testing - pressure is applied to the injectors and held to ensure the pintle or solenoid seal and don't leak when commanded off.
-Idle Volume Testing - The injectors are commanded with an idle signal and the flow results are recorded for each injector.
-Medium Volume Testing - The injectors are commanded with an medium signal and the flow results are recorded for each injector.
-High Volume Testing - The injectors are commanded with an WOT signal and the flow results are recorded for each injector.
