What to Expect
Your custom calibration will be developed specifically for your vehicle, 797 Performance camshaft, and supporting modifications. Throughout the remote tuning process, data logs will be reviewed and the calibration revised as needed to optimize:
- Idle quality and stability
- Cold and warm start behavior
- Part-throttle drivability
- Throttle response
- Fueling and ignition timing
- Wide-open-throttle performance
- Transmission shift behavior and performance, when applicable
The goal is a complete calibration that delivers the drivability you expect on the street while maximizing the performance of your 797 Performance camshaft package.

Remote Tuning Only
Choose this option if you already have the required HP Tuners hardware, wideband, and PCM access needed for your vehicle.
HP Tuners MPVI4 + AEM 30-0334 Wideband
Add an HP Tuners MPVI4 interface and AEM 30-0334 wideband if you do not already have the equipment required to flash your vehicle and record the data needed for remote tuning.
PCM Unlock Service — Required for 2015+ Vehicles
2015 and newer vehicles require an unlocked PCM before custom tuning can be performed. If your PCM has not already been unlocked, select the PCM Unlock Service when ordering.
This is a mail-in service. After removing the PCM from your vehicle, securely package and ship it to:

PCM unlocks are typically completed and ready for return shipping within 24 business hours of being received by MG Tuning.

HP Tuners Smart Access Cable — Required for 2018+ Vehicles
2018 and newer vehicles require an HP Tuners Smart Access Cable to bypass the factory security gateway and communicate with the vehicle for tuning.
