The factory 2025 Ram 1500 Hurricane driveshaft is a known weak point — notorious for clunking from the slip and insufficient strength for performance builds. This HD replacement driveshaft eliminates the clunk, doubles the wall thickness of the stock aluminum shaft, and is rated to handle 1,500+ whp. Track and street tested.

Material Options
- Carbon Fiber — 3.5" x .186" wall (3.872" OD). Critical torque: 7,583 ft-lbs. Critical RPM: 8,975 RPM. Lightest option with maximum rotational efficiency.
- Aluminum (4") — 4" x .125" wall tubing. Rated 1,500 HP. Double the wall thickness of the OEM shaft.
- Aluminum (5") — 5" tubing. Rated 1,500 HP. Maximum strength for high-power builds.
Important Installation Notes
- You must transfer your original front and rear serrated flange yokes to the new driveshaft — new flanges are not included
- Instructions for swapping flange yokes are included with your order
- Prefer to have us do it? Ship us your stock driveshaft and we'll transfer the yokes before shipping your new shaft out
Flange Yoke Transfer Steps (Overview)
- Remove retaining clips from OEM shaft using needle nose pliers
- Press out the U-joint using a U-joint press or C-clamp — do not bend the flange ears inward
- Clean the flange yokes to remove debris, rust, and old grease
- Install flange yokes onto new driveshaft U-joints using press or C-clamp; ensure caps are fully seated
- Install new retaining clips; confirm U-joint is centered and caps are fully seated to prevent driveline vibration
