Product Description:

Demon 170 Carbon Fiber 1-Piece Driveshaft is made with 3.5" ID x .186” wall (3.872”OD) Performance Tubing, performance 1350 series solid cross non greaseable u-joints, aluminum bondable yoke shaft and spline sleeve assembly, bond yoke, Aluminum flange yokes, and 1 HD 7075 Aluminum Adapter Plate Included for Transmission output. Hardware with Loctite is also included.

Our Demon 170 Aluminum 1-Piece Driveshaft is made with Sonnax KDS4-T8 -4”OD x .125” wall (4”OD) Tubing, performance 1350 series solid cross non greaseable u-joints, aluminum yoke shaft and spline sleeve assembly, sonnax weld yoke, Aluminum flange yokes, and 1 HD 7075 Aluminum Adapter Plate for Transmission output. Hardware with Loctite is also included.

All driveshafts are high speed balanced for performance application. Each and every carbon fiber driveshaft is also torque tested before shipping. This ensures the bond is solid and your driveshaft will hold up under high torque application. 

These are designed from the ground up and are demon 170 specific to the transmission and differential. Direct mount flange for the differential and 7075 Aluminum adapter to flange on transmission

• We use a 2024 aluminum bondable yokes from Composite Drivelines for additional strength vs traditional 6061 aluminum

• Aluminum made with Sonnax KDS4-T8 -4”OD x .125” wall (4”OD)

• Weighs only 21lbs vs 48lbs OEM factory unit and is built to handle nearly 2000hp.

• We use direct bolt in adapter flanges from Composite Drivelines and SONNAX instead of high speed CVs that require additional adapters and hardware

• We use only NEAPCO Performance 1350 series solid cross non greaseable U-Joints in all of our performance and racing shafts.

• Transmisson Adapter Plate made out of HD 7075 Aluminum

**Please keep heat in excess of 240 degrees away from bonded areas for extended periods of time. While it is uncommon to see these temperatures under a moving vehicle, we highly recommend heat shielding/insulation, exhaust/header wrap, to create a barrier of protection. Shafts that fail due to improper heat shielding and subsequent thermal degradation of bonding agent are not covered by warranty.

Please check for any clearance issues. Check the driveshaft tunnel for any bolts, heat shield rub, exhaust clearance, shifter clearance, etc. Make sure nothing rubs on the driveshaft. This is your responsibility. Any damage done to the driveshaft from clearance issues is not covered and voids all warranty
