The factory Ram TRX and RHO driveshaft is a known weak point — thin-wall tubing, cast steel flange yokes, and undersized 1410 series U-joints that clunk, flex, and fail under hard launches, aggressive off-road use, and high-horsepower builds. The East Coast Driveline HD Rear Driveshaft is a complete drop-in replacement that eliminates the clunk, dramatically increases torque capacity, and weighs less than OEM. No flange swapping required.
East Coast Driveline are the originators of the upgraded driveshaft for the TRX and RHO platforms — engineered and assembled in-house.

Material Options
- Carbon Fiber — 3.872" OD (3.5" x .186" wall): Lightest option. Superior vibration dampening, excellent torsional strength. Ideal for performance-focused builds. Lead time: 2–3 weeks.
- Aluminum 4" OD (4" x .125" wall): Thick-wall, extreme durability. Perfect for off-road abuse, towing, and daily-driven performance trucks. Lead time: 2–5 days.
- Aluminum 5" OD (5" x .125" wall): Maximum strength for high-power and heavily modified builds. Lead time: 2–5 days.
Key Upgrades Over OEM
- 1480 series U-joints (vs. factory 1410) — substantially higher torque capacity and shock load resistance
- CNC billet aluminum or forged steel flange yokes — eliminates weak points of cast OEM yokes; reduces rotational mass
- Thicker wall tubing — stronger than OEM with less weight
- Precision balanced for high-speed stability and smooth operation
- Complete driveshaft — no need to swap OEM flanges off your stock shaft
- Direct bolt-in replacement — no cutting, grinding, or modifications
